LAUNCHING A CLIENT’S ORGANIC SUPERFOOD BRAND INTO THE GERMAN MARKET
Brief
From summer 2013 to spring 2015 I was consulting the Berlin based German startup „africrops! GmbH“ in the fields of product and brand development, marketing, sales, public relations and social media communication.
One of the tasks was to develop a consumer-facing superfood brand for african superfoods from direct trade, such a Moringa (Moringa oleifera) and Baobab (Adansonia digitata).

Results
Within months, the brand „The Essence of Africa“ had been developed and the first product range consisting of moring leaf powder, moringa tea, moringa oil, baobab powder and baobab oil as well as a range of smoothie powders was launched into the German market. The products have been listed at organic wholesalers and retailers throughout Germany.
